Textfyre, Inc.

Posted: June 25, 2007 in interactive fiction, Textfyre

Over the course of the last thirteen months, I have been developing a new interactive fiction game publishing business. I started by reaching out to people I’ve met online that are also passionate about interactive fiction to discuss my plans and eventually publicized my intentions on the Usenet Group rec.arts.int-fiction.

The Google Groups link is http://groups.google.com/group/rec.arts.int-fiction/ and you can see all of the past postings regarding Textfyre here http://groups.google.com/group/rec.arts.int-fiction/search?group=rec.arts.int-fiction&q=textfyre.

Textfyre was officially incorporated on March 9th, 2007. We have two worlds in the works, one game nearly complete in design. We’ve partnered with an illustrator, an interactive designer, two writers, a game designer, and a business plan advisor to date, with more pieces being put together every day.

I’ll update this blog with more details about Textfyre over time.

Stay tuned.
