NookColor Android SDK Available

Today Barnes & Nobile opened up the developer area for the new NookColor. I recently played around with one and it’s very nice. A little on the heavy side, but it certainly could be an excellent IF playing device.

Since we already have FyreVM ported to Java, if anyone wants to take up the engine and start working on a port to Android on the NookColor, we’d love to see it happen. I will privately look for a developer to work on our games specifically, but there is no barrier if someone else wants to take a crack at it.

Although FireJam is still being worked on, it’s been tested without a specific UI. If you want to grab the source, it’s in the FyreVM sourceforge project at sourceforge.net/projects/fyrevm.
